Calls to 0844 and 0870 numbers are charged as standard calls and qualify as free minutes on most contract plans. On Pay And Go (prepaid) Original Talkalot, calls cost just 2p/min at weekends and 10p/min in the evenings. On PAYG Original calls cost 5p/min at weekends, same price as calling a regular landline.
On O2 Online Pay And Go Talkalot, calls to 0844 & 0870 numbers are charged at 35p/min daytime, 10p/min evening and 2p/min weekend and does not follow the usual 25p for first 3 minutes and then at reduced rate rule. |

07744 974 242 numbers are included in you free minutes. Standard call charges on Talk XX and Everyday 50 plan. Calls to 0870 041 5242 qualify for the (peak/off-peak) free minutes allowance. On Orange Your Plan, calls are charged at 10p/min at anytime. OVP tariff is charged as the imported network (i.e. O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile etc) 0844 numbers are charged at a higher rate. |

Calls to 0870 041 5242 are considered standard calls on Anytime and Daytime tariffs and qualify for any inclusive free minutes that you may have. Otherwise, the calls are charged at the regular 01/02xxx landline rate or 10p/min, whichever is the higher. 0870 calls do not qualify for bundled minutes in leisure or evening / weekends tariff. On prepaid tariffs, i.e. SmartStep, calls to 0870 are charged as a regular call. Other prepaid tariffs calls to 0870 are charged at either 10p/min or the standard rate, whichever is the higher (e.g. if your daytime rate is 35p/min, it is charged at 35p/min. If you evening rate is 2p/min, it is charged at 10p/min). Vodafone charges increased rates for all calls to 0844 numbers. |
